Melanoma Sin

My melanoma cancer of the skin,
they call incurable, deadly and fast,
but in my soul, my melanoma sin,
since God is slow to anger, will not last.

And if my cancer is so deadly too,
my melanoma sin is deadly more,
though cancer ends my body’s battle, true,
sin kills my soul and makes me lose the war.

Unlike my cancer that’s incurable,
my melanoma sins can all be cured,
when I repent, God makes His miracle,
by mercy my forgiveness is ensured.

My cancer death’s but postponed by the knife,
my sins are banished from eternal life.
