God's Impregnable There

Why do we most believe in God? He’s there.
It helps to be there to such faith attract,
the God Who made the sweet birds of the air,
why, He’s impregnable when He’s attacked.

The enemies of God, that devilish crew,
can’t hurt a God Who was and always is,
can mere man stop the sky from being blue,
or steal away a world that’s always His?

God’s thereness is most unassailable,
who can deny our lungs their oxygen?
God’s nature rules, He’s supernatural,
He can’t be kicked around by silly men.

God is a fort no weapon can get near,
God’s solid there is just as solid here.
