Love and Prayer

I share my prayer, O God, to show I care,
How can I say I love but do not pray?
God proves His love by answering my prayer,
and when I pray, I prove the love I say.
For those I say I love, I want the best,
for love makes me want their best more than mine,
love means I want what's in their best interest,
for how I love the best, prayer is the sign.
Love’s not just words I might be saying more,
love's not just what I'm dreaming of,
I show true love by who I'm praying for,
instead of dreams, it's prayer proves my true love.
O God, I pray I love whoever's there,
and prove my true love true by truest prayer.
