Love's greater than the universe I'm sure,
for love is God just as great God is love,
to share God's love should make me more secure,
that God loves me I can be certain of.
All-powerful God is still all-loving more,
God is not power, but love itself He is;
with mighty God, love's not a metaphor,
His greatest power is this true love of His.
God's powerful love is gentle, kind and good,
it does not bow to size or great things far;
as beauty wins us more than power could,
a daffodil shows more love than a star.
Lord, Your love's good, so beautiful and true,
forgive me if I fall in love with You.
