God More in Me

God fills the universe, He's strong out there,
and yet I know He's stronger here in me;
He did not make me for the everywhere,
for me He made the everywhere to be.
He did that not because I am so great,
rather because for me His love's so vast;
a love that's infinite will resonate
beyond a universe that will not last.
To such a love then how should I respond?
Should I give just part of me or the whole?
God I must love for real, not just be fond,
an infinite love deserves my heart and soul.
Since You are love, O Lord, more near than far,
Let me give back in full just what You are.
