God Proud

Of God it’s okay to be very proud,
a God Who did the universe create,
to shout His Gospel from the rooftops loud,
proclaim His Name and make it resonate.

We’re proud of Him Who loved us all so much
for us He sent His only Son to die,
a human God that we could see and touch,
Whose body died then rose to life, no lie.

I’m proud of my God Who is personal,
Who lives around, up close, inside of me,
Who’s made me into His own miracle,
to choose with faith to love, He set me free.

So proud of me I hope You will be too,
for I’m so very proud, O God, of You.
