Faith Is Life

What did they have or lack that we should know?
Adam and Eve sinned big for lack of faith,
to build his boat, what Noah had to show:
that faith brings life, and lack of faith is death.

The man of greatest faith old Abraham
obeyed God’s call to sacrifice his son,
and David too, the king from Bethlehem,
had faith he’d kill Goliath and he won.

By faith young Daniel risked his life to pray
to God Who saved him in the lion’s den,
God asked His Son to give His life to pay
off Adam’s debt by faith to save all men.

Faith is a gift You give us, Lord, for free,
the choice of life or death is up to me.
