Mist and Mystery

God’s there just like a mount beyond the mist,
a mountain larger than just mystery,
too big to hide too much in Eucharist,
beyond, within where eyes of faith can see.

For faith can pierce the mist around a mountain,
as we can see through mists to waterfalls,
as wine can’t hide His blood from loving fountain,
nor bread, the God of love Who so enthralls.

What we can’t see He has Himself revealed,
the mysteries loom beyond our time and place,
of Christ’s great love not much remains concealed,
when we see Him, we see the Father’s face.

I thank You, Lord, for clearing up for me
Your love so much from mist and mystery.
