God's Motive

I wonder what God's motive really is,
He doesn't need me any shape or form,
all things within the universe are His,
He always wins because He sets the norm.

The one thing that He needs must come from me,
for I possess the one thing that he wants,
love's only meaningful if it is free,
He made me free to hold back my response.

God has a lot of love He wants to share,
it's natural for love to be that way,
so He in turn asks us to love and care,
and we refuse to love to our dismay.

I do believe all this love stuff is true,
O God, in faith I choose to love You too.
