A Word of Prayer

A Word of Prayer      10/24/13

One word of prayer is worth a thousand ships,
for prayer invokes the infinite power of God,
with this some find it hard to come to grips,
while pray-ers don't find it the least bit odd.

One word of prayer is worth ten thousand planes,
for prayer works truly in the spiritual realm,
'round this some find it hard to wrap their brains,
but physical things the Spirit can overwhelm.

One word of prayer is worth a million guns,
some just refuse to try to understand,
a spiritual thing weighs more than many tons,
creation and the Spirit go hand in hand.

Unlike our things, the Spirit rules everywhere,
that's why there's power inside a word of prayer.
