The Difference
I kick myself for all my sins and flaws,
for all the hurts done by my words and hands,
God knows how I have broken all His laws,
more than I know, He knows and understands.
Flawed though I am, how critical I've been,
ignoring my own faults so cowardly;
while merciless I am to other men,
His mercy still is infinite for me.
I know I should forgive, though I do not,
my neighbor for his flaws and how he lives,
for seven deadly sins I should be shot,
but for my small repentence, God forgives.
For all Your care, Lord, offered tenderly
despite my crimes, I know You still love me.
