Mystery Change

You cannot change, yet You change all the time,
Lord, You create change, so You must change too,
can’t do sublime unless You are sublime,
with constant change, You, Lord, make all things new.

All perfect God, You are immutable,
yet You create the change in us, we know,
each seven years, You change each molecule,
You’re change itself, as You make all things show.

Your beauty is not static or a bore,
Your sunsets’ changing glow hold us in awe,
our science sees unchanging nature’s core,
Your stream of miracles breaks nature’s law.

Let me adapt, Lord, to Your changing ways,
so that our changeless love forever stays.
