Known Love

God’s love is known to me, and yet unknown,
for who can fathom infinite love divine?
Yet it He offers me as if alone
I can lay claim to it and make it mine.

Faith tells me His love’s there for me to share,
with eyes of faith I see and take it free,
it’s not enough to know it’s waiting there,
You want it, Lord, to boomerang from me.

Your love is there to share, not just to know,
to help spread it to all the human race,
to see, to know, to feel, to share, to show,
and so reveal the beauty of Your face.

Lord, I don’t need to know all of Your love
to see it’s what I’m just a token of.
