Beyond All God

The universe, they say, is still expanding,
filled up with stars and galaxies galore,
on few of them have we made plans for landing,
how rare the planets that we can explore.

The universe grows at the speed of light,
beyond the view of our best telescope,
we’ll never reach its end, try as we might,
too far for us to search, too dim the hope.

Lightspeed is slow for God Who’s so, so fast,
to Him a billion years is just a day,
when all is gone, God’s spiritual world will last,
though just a speck, I’m free to go His way.

This time and space I still see God beyond,
my rhyme and face--He will be always fond.
