Love Gives Up

How can I love, I can’t give up a thing?
You gave up being God to come to earth,
I owe You for so much, You are my King,
without Your gifts, I don’t have any worth.

From nothing at all You created me,
I’ve nothing, Lord, except for what You’ve given,
and me You offer an eternity
of love and joy and happiness in heaven.

I only take, You show that love means give,
without Your love, I wouldn’t leave a trace,
I need to share Your love so long I live,
and how do that except to use Your grace.

You give Your life, O Lord, Your love, Your all,
I need but give my answer to Your call.
