A Blink of Time

From time eternal God knew I would be,
then He decided I'd be here and now,
He knows where I will spend eternity,
but I in time decide my fate somehow.

This moment is too late to change the past,
I can't opt out, there is no place to hide,
life's but a blink, eternity so vast,
a brief time left for me to now decide.

I feel so few the answers that I know,
I go into the future almost blind,
to here I haven't got a lot to show,
though still enough to know I can be kind.

 O God, I pray that all You say is true,
because I've put all of my faith in You.
