Bond of Grace

God made the water, He can make the grace,
just as the water cleanses, grace does too,
our racetrack clear, our souls clean for the race,
no question watermaker, grace or you.
God’s frosting is an overlay of grace,
when we do good, His grace is there to spare,
God cannot love and leave without a trace,
He adds His grace, our good’s rewarded there.
All evil has an underlay of grace,
God’s grace will win, the evil, lost, will lose,
yet I must be still free to lose the chase,
the grace for good, or none for bad, I choose.
Lord, for my need for grace I plead, “Respond!”
to form with You by grace this gracious bond.
