Why are some blind to all Your work, O Lord,
while others see Your mighty hand displayed?
As You leave some excited, never bored,
some others always rain on Your parade.
Why do some fight against Your mystery,
so angry that they fail to grasp Your power,
as others gaze in all humility
at mountain vistas and each dainty flower?
Do You not grant the gift of faith to all?
Can't we all sense the wonders of Your heart?
So why do I reply to my faith call,
when some are numb to plumb Your awesome art?
Rather than stew for You to prove You're true,
I will to place my hope-filled faith in You.
