Tailored Love

Love's not a shoe, the one-size-fits-all kind,

love's like a pair that's tailored to your feet,

for love's distinct and in that sense not blind,

we tailor love to everyone we meet.

For each one in our life, love's not the same,

since every person's very different,

for truly love by any other name

may smell as sweet but with dissimilar scent.

God knows and loves each one He makes unique,

He loves me special, I'm a special me,

we love in special ways we may not seek,

just as God loves us each so differently.

We're special, Lord, our love is special too,

may I have extra special love for You.
