God First

O God, You are the first, best love of mine,
my whole self is subordinate to Thee,
and everything that I possess is Thine,
my job, my friends, my world, my family.

O Lord, I take most serious Your commands,
Your will comes first before my own desire,
I glad accept my full fate from Your hands,
to do Your work burns in me like a fire.

Your love comes first because You are the best,
I do not want to serve what is not You,
in serving You, I know I will be blest,
I want to most to Thine own self be true.

To put You first, all else falls into place,
to make this world and me full of Thy grace.
