Mary's Day of Birth

My mother died the day of Mary’s birth,
she found new birth by being heavenbound,
her soul to God, her body back to earth,
as Mary’s Gabriel said, His grace she found.

This is my niece’s last novena day,
from cancer death, new life so wonderful,
to Sister Lucia now so many pray
that Fatima’s Mary wins God’s miracle.

Mary was born to bring Christ’s birth and death,
He had to die, we have to die sometime,
a miracle for our soul is best--by faith
we know it births forever life sublime.

No matter which our Lady and God give,
God’s life--here or in heaven--we want to live.
