The Sacred Parts of Mystery

Each mystery of God has sacred parts
that tantalize in covering up the whole,
while hiding holy puzzles from our hearts,
yet showing spiritual secrets to our soul.

It is the nature of a mystery
to be part visible and invisible too,
the eyes of faith reveal much we can see,
where eyes of skeptics do not have a clue.

If we examine mysteries too close
with scientific eyes, they may close up,
but if by faith and prayer we diagnose,
some bloom and blossom like a buttercup.

We know God less straining like Hercules
than listening to His whisper in a breeze.
