Always There

Invite God near, and He’s already here,
then ask Him to attend to you, He does,
why be afraid with Him Who knows no fear?
He’ll always be the same He always was.

His faithfulness is total, He made You,
He lives with us down here as up above,
His every word and promise too is true,
since He is love, we share His infinite love.

Would you reject your own most loyal friend,
the greatest Being, though robed in mystery,
so glued to you and true right to the end?
Can you deny this Fan Who made you free?

I look into those eyes so full of care,
and say, “I love You, Lord, so always there.”
