His Double Miracle

When Jesus walked the earth among the sick,
He always did a double miracle,
He wanted His divinity to stick,
His cures were physical and spiritual.

For who’d believe this human was divine,
that He would die and then for them arise?
To build faith in His word and spiritual sign,
He worked a miracle before their eyes.

Yet willfully blind and envious Pharisees
claimed all His power was Satan and his band,
but Christ spoke His indelible word to these:
“A house divided against itself can’t stand.”

So with Your physical miracle You impart
a spiritual cure, Lord, to convert the heart.
