Someday God’s mysteries will be no surprise
for those to whom He chooses to reveal
His mysteries then they’ll see with opened eyes
and realize the reality that’s real.
We don’t see now how ignorant we are,
how unenlightened, limited and dumb,
our puny minds can’t comprehend a star,
God’s galaxies will glow ‘til Kingdom come.
What does it take to fathom God’s ways here?
We see with eyes of faith, we know by love,
we chuck our pride, our worldliness, our fear,
aspire instead to higher gifts from above.
You tell enough to us, Lord, I can wait
to know it all when I reach Heaven’s gate.
