O God, what is Your cosmic plan for me?
How do I fit into Your masterpiece?
Where is my place in Your eternity?
How can I Your infinity increase?
You put me in this transitory home,
these few abodes my memory holds dear;
You gave me less than a century to roam,
and love the ones who happen to be here.
This body's all I have to draw my fate--
a mind, a will, some creativity--
some friends, some assets, children and a mate,
that's all--Your plans, my things and puny me.
Lord, You’re my God to love or dissipate--
my one small chance to share Your destiny.
