A Galaxy of Love
O God, are You not busy with the stars?
A galaxy should take a little time;
our best minds busy marveling at Mars,
while I’m just busy writing up a rhyme.
You’re wrapped up with things like eternity,
holed up with the universe as a whole,
and yet somehow You take time out for me,
and worry Yourself sick about my soul.
I matter small in the great scheme of things,
next to those galaxies I see above,
yet I believe that Your attention brings
to me more than a galaxy of love.
If You make galaxies, Lord, work so true,
I should suspend some busy-ness for You.
