I Love

I love, a love that comes from God Who placed
His love within my heart so it is good
because it comes from God Who loved and graced
me with His love and showed me that I could.
I pray, the kind of prayer from Him Who planted
it in me by One Who saw my need
to know and love His love and took for granted
I would see His love become a seed.
I see, a seeing made by Him so clear
that if I love the love He gave to me,
my seed of love would bring His love down here
and spread it to the unloved ones I see.
I want, O God of love, to love You more
so I on those You love Your love outpour.
