Spirit Sight

When human Christ ascended in the sky,
some scientists ask where did His body go?
But our faith says there's more than meets the eye,
and we can know things science cannot show.

When Moses helped God split the sea in two,
some moderns give a natural explanation;
the stable's star is treated casually too,
Darwin's abused to dismiss all Creation.

Some say our mind is only just our brain,
and that our spirit's really not a soul,
and so we have no soul for sin to stain,
and conscience is just spiritual rigmarole.

Lord, faith shows me Your sweet invisible face,
I hear Your quiet voice and feel Your grace.
